THE MANDATE OF MAN

TEXT: Genesis 1:28
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Isaiah 35:1-7
The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose.

It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of the LORD, and the excellency of our God.

Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees.

Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompense; he will come and save you.

Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.

Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.

And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of dragons, where each lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes.

God created man to fulfill the mandate. Mandate to be fruitful, multiply, replenish,subdue and dominate.
To confirm this, God still repeated the.mandate after he destroyed the world with flood and he responded to Noah’s offering.
So from our anchor scripture, there was a prophesy that the wilderness and solitary place shall be made glad,desert shall rejoice and blossom as rose…

The verse 3 and 4 explain the role that mam needs to play to achieve the prophecy.
Verses 5 and 6 tells us what to expect.
So miracles can happen when a man strengthens the weak hands, confirms the feeble knees, encourage the fearful and hopeless.
Because man is mandated to bring light to the world.
As children of God. Are we living according to the mandate or he are trying to love for ourselves alone.
Man is not meant to live lesser than the mandate of God for his life.
