HIDDEN WITNESSES

TEXT: ACTS 1:8
There is nothing as dangerous and heart breaking as a witness not showing up in the court of law when needed.

No matter how good a case is, if your witness go into hiding when needed you may end up loosing the case.

Jesus said when the Holy Ghost comes upon us we receive power to become His witnesses.

Many rush to get power but restrain themselves from becoming a witness. They are reluctant about witnessing but craving for power.

Witnesses don’t sit at home when the courtroom is boiling.

The world is the court room, the devil is the accuser. A persistent accuser for that matter.

That is why we need to go out and fulfill what the lord is expecting of us.

But most times we are carried away with our needs and making ends meet rather than fulfilling the great commission.

Have you ever seen a witness in a court of law talking about his own personal problems and lamenting instead of witnessing to the issue on ground.
Does that mean God does not care about our challenges? No!
He said seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and every other thing shall be added unto you.
You can’t represent God and not be taken care of.

Witnesses are to shed more light to issues to bring solution.
The bible says in
Matthew 5:14-16 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

The power of the Holy Ghost is to light you up. Why must you be lighted up and be hidden. A candle that is lighted up and go hidden under the table will cause fire accident.

Do you know how many cases, we have lost to the kingdom of darkness because when witnesses were expected to show their face and appear in the law court of this world, they went into hiding.

Matthew 25:5-6 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.

This is the story of the ten virgins. The later part says go out to meet him. It is in our going out we meet the Lord.
