GOD WILL NOT ABANDON YOU

TEXT: PSALM 16:10

Psalms 16:10 For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption .

Hell is the worst place any man can be. From this passage David made us to understand that, no matter how bad the situation he finds himself, God will not leave him there.

GOD cares for us. He is even more in a hurry to safe us from danger than we are. We are the Apple of his eyes and he has written us in the palm of his hand. The bible says he is mindful of us. Meaning he is always thinking about us.

David said in Psalm 23, Yea even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, in will fear no evil, for thou art with me ….

In the darkness, God is there. There is a need for us to trust him to see us through.
We may be passing through unpalatable situations but I want us to know that God will not leave us there.

Psalm 94:14
For the Lord will not cast off His people, nor will He forsake His inheritance.

Yesterday, we were told not to give up on God. And today another word of hope is coming to us. The bible says he will not cast off His people. We are his people. We are the sheep of his pasture. He won’t cast us off. He will not forsake us because we are His inheritance. What a privilege.

I don’t know what you are going through, but I want to encourage you this morning that. The Lord will not leave you there.

Your dark seasons have expiry date and very soon it will pass. It has come and must pass because it will COME to PASS.

Deut 31:8
Deuteronomy 31:8 And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed .

The bible says, He will not fail us, he is with us. His name is above every other name and He honours His word than His name, when he says it, He will do it. Nothing can stop him except you.

The Lord is with you in whatever situation you find yourself. Yours is to turn to him for help.

Gideon complained to the angel about the suffering of God’s people but the angel of the Lord told him, the Lord is with him.

Hagar Sarah’s maid cried in the wilderness when she left her son to die for lack of water. GOD heard the voice of the baby boy and showed her a well of water.

GOD still hears us when we call in our distresses .He is there and he isn’t willing to leave us in that pain.

Romans 8:38-39
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

His love is strong enough to pull us out of the depth of hell, only if we can turn to him for help. For we are his workmanship created in Christ Jesus. Don’t let the devil deceive you, you are precious to God and he is eager to bring us out of the pit. He is mindful of us. The psalmist say, what is man that you are mindful of him…

We may not understand things during our dark seasons but most times God is working out wonders behind the close doors.

Isaiah 49:21
Isaiah 49:21 Then shalt thou say in thine heart, Who hath begotten me these, seeing I have lost my children, and am desolate, a captive, and removing to and fro? and who hath brought up these? Behold, I was left alone; these, where had they been?

In your night seasons, ma may abandon you, God may be silent but will never forsake you. Because sometimes, He is silently working on things you will need when your morning comes.
