Comparison

2 Corinthians 10:12 For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.

According to the bible only foolish people compare themselves with others.

You’re not in any competition with anybody, stop living as though you are in a debate class.

You are uniquely made by God. There is no any YOU anywhere before you came to to this world, in this world and after you are gone.

Stop trying to be like someone else.
Learn to celebrate yourself and Love the who you are.

Not loving yourself is what makes you want to be like someone else because you feel they are better than you.

Comparison is a serious mental problem.🤣🤣

God is a God of varieties.
In the family of yam there is Dioscorea alata (white yam), Dioscorea bulbifera (potato yam), Dioscorea cayenensis (yellow yam), Dioscorea esculenta (Asiatic yam) and Dioscorea batatas (Chinese yam). All of them are from the ‘DIOSCOREAs’ family.

Why you wan kill yourself on top say you too tall, you too short, you too fat, you too thin, you too ugly, you too fine, you get k leg, you get bow leg, you too dark, your complexion too light, your hair too small, your eye lashes too short, your shape no good enough, you too poor, you too dey average, your tummy too big, your waist too small.

Who told you that?

God formed you in the womb, Jeremiah 1:5 explains that better.

What has killed many is the ambition to change things and become like someone else so they can be accepted in society.

Stop disturbing yourself by trying to look like others before you can be acceptable by them. Sometimes those people no even send you.

Abeg, face your front. Work on yourself, change what is necessary and important things like your character and focus.

Don’t make changes because you want to be like someone else.

If you are not trying to be like Jesus, any other person you are trying to be like is something lesser than you.

What you focus you become.

2 Corinthians 3:18
But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Behold Jesus and you will be transformed into his image. The express image of God. Which will bring you into more glory because you will move from glory to glory as by the spirit.

Na only the Holy Spirit helps us with that transformation.

The world is awaiting your latest version but you are busy trying to upgrade your version into that of your neighbor’s because of comparison.

Can you see how foolish this course can be.

Only the wise will understand that there is a new glory about them that needs to be unveiled. AND that can only be possible when the Spirit comes to transform you as you focus and behold Jesus.
