Gratitude 4

TEXT: LUKE 19:40
Jesus replied, “I tell you, if these [people] keep silent, the stones will cry out [in praise]!”

This was the response of Jesus when the pharisees told Jesus to silence the people praising him during his triumphant entry into Jerusalem.

This is an indication that the matter of praise and worship is not a small matter before the lord.

The lord longs for it.

So when the enemies wanted to silence the children of God from praising him, Jesus said stones will do it.

Lifeless object will do it, if you refuse to do it.

This shows how important praise,worship is to God.

Psalms 8 says “Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings have he perfected praise.”

God does not mind perfecting praise with babes and suckling if they can make themselves available to praise him.

I want to encourage us this morning to live a life of praise to God. Showing an act of gratitude makes God happy.

Be grateful today.
