BIRTHING THE ENCOUNTER

LUKE 1:26-38; LUKE 2:7

The angel of the Lord visited Mary, nine month before the birth of the savior. The encounter was between Mary and the Lord. That day, she willingly accepted to carry the seed of God. Something happened to her body. A process began after the encounter.

And for nine month everything about her changed. Though the evidence of the encounter became obvious for people to see. But only Mary knew what exactly happened to her.

There is an encounter of divine visitation, but there is a need to process the encounter.

At first it was as if nothing happened. But as days run into weeks and weeks into months, the process became visible for all to see even though the encounter was not yet birthed. Then, nine months later, it was birthed. Redemption was sealed! Hallelujah.

It is not about, how many encounters you have received. The question is how many have you processed and nurtured?

This is the season people go for different retreat programs. But how do we manage the encounters we have in those meetings? Refuse to be a waster of God’s resources this season.

Without proper processing, encounters may be aborted.

Mary was not jumping about sharing her encounters. She was not busy telling people she is the virgin that Isaiah prophesied about. But she was a keeper. She kept herself as a virgin that qualified her for that encounter, she still kept herself as a pregnant woman while the encounter was undergoing process.

Encounters are not meant to be celebrated they are to be birthed.

But between the visitation and birthing, lies the process.

A woman encountered God, processed it properly and birthed it, this day many years ago.

The whole world is blessed because of this singular act.

I pray you receive grace to process and nurture every divine encounters until they are birthed in Jesus name.
